2020 CONFERENCE - CALL FOR SPEAKERS
The Coalition for Physician Well-Being’s 2020 National Annual conference will feature leading voices on well-being and burnout. The focus is on strategies and breakthrough approaches to enhance well-being and promote a healthier culture for individuals through their healthcare organizations.
We are now accepting speaker proposals for a limited number of general session presentations, breakouts and roundtables that provide original programs with reportable results, review of programs and cutting-edge solutions to further enhance physician well-being.
The deadline for submitting proposals is January 15, 2020.
HOW SPEAKERS ARE SELECTED:
Proposals are reviewed by the Coalition for Physician Well-Being Program Planning Committee. During the proposal review process, the committee will assess potential speakers. Proposals are evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Proposal addresses one of the following content areas:
- Business and Quality:
- EMR
- Work Re-design
- Turnover
- Engagement
- Culture:
- Code of Conduct
- Communication
- Medical Ethics
- Culture Transformation
- Resilience:
- Accountability
- Coaching
- Relationships
- Spirituality
- Learning:
- Leadership
- Teamwork
- Whole-Person Care
- The subject presents new and creative ideas that are on the cutting-edge of the topic
- Abstract and title of the session demonstrate the intent concisely
- Learning objectives are well-defined
- Speaker is knowledgeable, engaging, experienced and respected on the topic submitted
- Proposal demonstrates a thought-leadership perspective
- Overall quality of the submitted proposal
DISCOUNTED CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEE
- The program committee will inform speakers of acceptance by February 15, 2020. Speakers will need to confirm their acceptance to participate as a speaker by April 1, 2020.
- Accepted speakers will receive a discounted registration rate of $500. Please note that we do not pay honoraria and speakers are expected to cover their own travel and lodging expenses.
- Accepting the invitation to present confirms the commitment to attend the conference and present. Presenters are responsible for registering for the conference and making all necessary travel arrangements to attend.
