Celebrating National APP Week!

Happy National APP Week!

We wanted to recognize our Advance Practice Providers which includes nurse practitioners (NP), physician assistants (PA), nurse midwives (CNM) and certified nurse anesthetists (CRNA).  We celebrate the hard work and dedication of these professionals who provide high-quality patient care.

The Coalition for Physician Well Being (CPWB) has long been a leading advocate for promoting the health and well-being of physicians across the United States.  In recognition of the changing landscape of healthcare and the integral role that advanced practice providers (APPs) play in the modern medical system, the CPWB has taken a significant step forward by prioritizing the inclusion of APPs within its coalition.  This shift underscores the CPWB’s commitment to fostering a holistic and inclusive approach to provider well-being.

One of the most exciting developments stemming from this shift is the inclusion of an advance practice provider track to the annual well-being conference, Joy & Wholeness Summit, in Salt Lake City this year. By extending this invitation to APPs, the CPWB is acknowledging their invaluable contributions to patient care and the healthcare community as a whole.  This conference serves as a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and personal growth, and the involvement of APPs will undoubtedly enrich the diversity of perspectives and experiences shared during the event. It also reflects the CPWB’s recognition that the well-being of healthcare professionals is intrinsically linked, and by working together and supporting one another, we can collectively create a more resilient and healthier healthcare system for all.  This inclusive approach signals a bright future for provider well-being and highlights the CPWB’s dedication to evolving the times to best serve the entire healthcare community.
